Exploring Chicago's dynamic cityscape, my drone captured the dazzling lights at night, the tranquil beauty of sunrise over Lake Michigan, and the surreal magic under a full moon. Join me in this visual journey as I showcase the city's vibrancy in three distinct moments—each frame telling a unique story of Chicago's timeless allure.
It typically takes me about a year to create a photo series based around the moon. Everything has to line up perfectly: the correct part of the lunar cycle, the weather conditions, and the right location. It's a lot of work, but worth it in the end.
Boston is a beautiful and historic city whose landscape is an urban photographer’s playground. I was lucky to get a number of shots for my portfolio out of this trip.
The selections here are unified by the unique light conditions of the Golden Hour, a brief portion of early evening where subjects are illuminated by the setting sun. The warm colors accentuate earth tones in Boston’s architecture and highlight them against the darkening sky. Combined with the city’s reflection in the Charles River, this series contains of some of my favorite photographic elements to capture.
