Pittsburgh Cityscapes

My drone captured the vibrant spectacle of Pittsburgh's skyline, adorned in a radiant symphony of lights at night. As the sun painted the city in morning hues, I immortalized the tranquil beauty of sunrise along the rivers. Join me in this visual journey, where each frame captures the dynamic energy and architectural beauty of Pittsburgh from dusk to dawn.

City Characters

With the right light (and A LOT of patience) you can capture images on the street that look like they were staged in a studio. I like giving an abstract, stylized feel to people existing in an otherwise mundane urban setting. Each image is a mystery meant to spark the imagination, inviting you to create the story of the anonymous figures passing through the frame.

Magic Hour in Boston

Boston is a beautiful and historic city whose landscape is an urban photographer’s playground. I was lucky to get a number of shots for my portfolio out of this trip.

The selections here are unified by the unique light conditions of the Golden Hour, a brief portion of early evening where subjects are illuminated by the setting sun. The warm colors accentuate earth tones in Boston’s architecture and highlight them against the darkening sky. Combined with the city’s reflection in the Charles River, this series contains of some of my favorite photographic elements to capture.

The Winter of '21

It's been a while since New York has experienced as much winter weather as we've had this year. I made sure to get out with my camera before the plows did their work and the remaining snow turned that less-than-appealing salty gray.
Snow highlights the beauty of New York differently. People stand out in their surroundings more, allowing the city to frame them in places they'd otherwise be lost in the shuffle of everyday life. This may be the city that never sleeps, but it's always a treat to see nature slow it down.

New York Lockdown

My first series during this pandemic in New York. You know how bad it is and how our daily routine has changed. Nobody knows if we will go back to normal.I know for sure it will never be the same.

City silhouettes (New York)

I like to separate light and dark to create contrast in silhouette. I do that by looking for possible composition first and then just patient and right moment makes the frame.
